An 18-year-old man has been charged with burglary and theft offences on the Isle of Wight.
Police were called at 05:51 on Saturday 24th June with reports of a break-in at Ryde Superbowl, where it’s alleged that alcohol was stolen from inside.
Following enquiries, 18-year-old Roobin Jones was arrested and charged with burglary.
Jones, of Daniel Street in Ryde, was also charged with the following offences:
- Criminal damage to a door at Sands Hotel, Sandown on 23rd June.
- Attempted burglary at Sands Hotel, Sandown on 23rd June.
- Theft of a phone charger from B&M stores in Newport on 7th June.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Isle of Wight Magistrates’ Court today (Monday 26th June).

hes a regular lol, perhaps maybe the judge will have a good sense to sentence him for his actions this time

Another master criminal prowling the streets of the island. I’m surprised he was caught so quickly after such deception. He’ll probably evade justice and escape to freedom in Marbella, living beyond the reach of the law.
