4 people have been arrested following a suspected early morning knife attack that took place at a residential address in Freshwater earlier today (Saturday).
As previously reported by Island Echo, officers from Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary were called to the scene just before 06:00 after receiving reports of an assault.
Once at the scene a cordon was erected on the road closed between the junctions with Golden Ridge and The Old Smithy, whilst officers carried out inquiries.
At the scene, 3 men aged 27, 29 and 38, and a 29-year-old woman all from the Isle of Wight were arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent.
A 32-year-old male was treated for injuries to the hand at the scene before being taken to St Mary’s Hospital.
Those arrested remain in custody at this time.

The guy that got stabbed was a bit of a nonce banging on doors and creating a problem for the neighbours . My son lives close to where it happened .
