After a successful first 2 years, Isle Imagine, a pop-up role-play village for children, is set to move into its first permanent home on Newport’s Riverway Industrial Estate.
Isle Imagine runs role-playing sessions for young children under 6 and was the Island’s first pop-up role-play village.
Using custom-made bespoke backdrops and high-quality toys children are encouraged to be whatever they want to be, from firefighter to doctor from mechanic to beautician.
This new venue – located in what was Solent Beds and Furniture and before that Johnstone’s Decorating Centre – will allow Emma and the team to offer daily sessions at a consistent venue and will also allow Isle Imagine to offer children’s parties following the creation of the ‘party zone’. Owner Emma Early has been showing a sneak preview when she posts updates on the Isle Imagine TikTok page.
Speaking on the move, Emma has said:
“Following an amazing 2 years of being mobile and going from venue to venue around the Island on a weekly basis, we will now be in one venue and open daily. Isle Imagine will be bigger and better, having a proper little village, proper little buildings, a fire station, supermarket, construction site, hospital and much more. They will be a café and a designated party zone.
“Over the last 2 years, Isle Imagine has gone from strength to strength and we are very excited about our new venue. We hope that the Island children and visitors enjoy it as much as they have our mobile role play village”.
The very-first Isle Imagine HQ is to open to the public on 2nd December.
