emily what did you say
What did she say?
Emily, I’m also lost for words….
Surely you mean That’s a 1st 4 u 2 b lost 4 words lol
Your disgusting
I think he can expect a visit from the old bill….
I think the comments here making light of this are disgusting, Is it because it is an Asian man that people feel less inclined to sympathy? There was certainly more sympathy in the other thread when it did not mention anything much and people were speculating about him being a homeless man who lives in a tent.
I notice there was much support for the woman who was reported as missing on the Island, if this poor man had been one of the obvious local smackheads would you all be falling over yourselves with sympathy instead of making inane comments, with lol, at the end? Disgusting.
Whilst there is no excuse for mocking the dead, the other person that died, was identified and a photo of her shown – this meant people who knew her posted their condolences as well as those who did not know her.
The fact that this guy is still anonymous, means a number of people won’t make any connection to him, even though his passing is by no means of lesser importance.
Those posts mocking him appear to have been removed – which is right and just – those individuals that posted any disrespectful comments must live with the consequences of their badly chosen words – even if they aren’t fully aware of what those consequences are and what form they will take and when.
RIP.
I’m sorry but it really doesn’t matter if a photo is shown, someone has lost their life and that is all that matters, a photo will not change that, if a person is reported missing without a photo people still comment ‘hoping they are found safe and well’ regardless as to whether they know that person or not! A man has lost his life anonymous or not people should have more respect, a picture or name should not change this.. I’m so very sad this man has lost his life. May he rest in peace.
a picture will change this – as it can elicit a different response from people – especially when they know them.
Whoever he was it’s so sad as to how he came to have died, accident or on purpose who knows, R.I.P.
Such a sad situation.
Disgusting comments!!! Poor guy an family shame on you alllll!!
This man is someone’s son and possibly a father ,doesn’t matter If he’s black white or of any race ,he’s a human being so show dignity.
No one here knows the circumstances ,,,R.I.P
Disgusting behaviour comments like that are awful
Have the echo deleted some comments? I only see five comments that show sympathy, but I can’t see any racist comments..
Again the the Island showing it is still host to some of the horrible racism it as been known for for years.. RIP young man may you now be at peace.
I am glad I didn’t see the comments posted by the vile people with no compassion. But how did such awful comments get as far as being published! I thought this site was monitored and comments reviewed before they appeared? A message certainly appears when I post comments. Island Echo needs to take a bit of responsibility!
I think you’ll find island echo like playing god!
Bet this gets deleted.
Wondering if the poor man has fallen off one of the many ships at anchor round the island. Hope his identify is found. Sad news for someone. RIP.
He probably would have been reported and searched for
