A crash involving 3 vehicles in Carisbrooke has led to an emergency response by Police and paramedics this lunchtime (Sunday).
The incident has occurred on The Mall at the junction with Trafalgar Road and has involved a Range Rover Velar, a Honda Jazz and a Mini Clubman.
Paramedics from the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service are checking over those involved, but no serious injuries are thought to have been sustained.
Police are on scene directing traffic. They were called at around 11:45.
Trafalgar Road has been closed in an eastbound direction but all other roads remain open, albeit with heavy traffic.

Top quality driving on the Isle of Wight
More brain-dead idiots will be along soon, you lot will never change….
Forgive my ignorance, but who is it that you are addressing as “you lot”? Just interested so that your statement is clear in the interest of clarity.
Another idiot Range Rover driver
not no more
I have got a big 4 x 4 get out of my way
Getting to be a daily event, worrying!
One less range rover on the road wonder what happened there turned in front off car maybe
That looks like the range rover that, as I crossed a pedestrian crossing, was edging forward all the time to the point they were half way across the crossing by the time the lights went green.
A daily event now but why?
its a small island so don’t have much driving experience god help us if you lot was to pop over to the mainland for the day
what is it with island drivers. Do you not have driving schools and test centres over there
How do you know these people are island drivers? They could have been mainlanders who have moved over here and brought their bad habits along with them.
you can’t park there mate..
I hate to say it but because so many people seem to struggle with the highway code they’ll end up putting 4-way traffic lights on that junction. It’s easy folks, obey the give way and give way to the right.
