Pet Doctors in Ryde are celebrating their first birthday, and to mark the special occasion, they are inviting the public to an open day event this Saturday (31st May).
The event provides an opportunity to meet the team behind the veterinary practice on Park Road, tour the new facility, and take part in interactive experiences. Visitors will also be able to enjoy informative talks on pet health and welfare.
A number of local Isle of Wight charities and businesses will have stalls at the event, offering information and goods. Refreshments will be available throughout the day, and there will be photo opportunities for visitors and their pets.
It is hoped that the open day will strengthen ties with the local community while showcasing the services and care available at the practice.
Located on Park Road in Ryde, the open day will take place between 11:00 and 15:00.

unfortunately they are part of a national chain CVS who screw trhe customer for every penny you can
They are a national chain. When they became Pet Doctors, there was a noticeable change, and not for the good.
Long-established staff began leaving, admin and veterinary staff, the service began to deteriorate. The vet staff were inexperienced and it clearly showed, and unfortunately, money began to show as a potential driving force.
No vet is cheap, but there are better practices. Very glad I left.
Would recommend Island vets.
Vets and Dentists are cash cows.
Moo Moo
Make sure you have Insurance, its the first thing you will be asked.
Certainly in it for the money as opposed to the pets. I’m sure the young vets are for the animals yet they are governed by the bigwig money grabbers, but your being charged full whack for inexperience. It might be this or it might be that, in the mean while have a really expensive prescription. Appreciating everyone has to start somewhere maybe pricing should be tiered like hairdressers.
Anyhows for quality of service, experience and not pharma driven stick with the independents. Island vets and the chap in shanklin are marvellous. I’ve actually chased my 2 vets around the island from the establishments they’ve left. Pet Doctors being 1 of them.
