PARAMEDICS AND POLICE CALLED TO WILTON PARK ROAD COLLISION

UPDATED: The Isle of Wight Ambulance Service and Hampshire Constabulary have been called to a road traffic collision in Shanklin this afternoon (Friday).

Paramedics are on scene at Wilton Park Road in the town where 2 vehicles have crashed.

Police are also on scene and are diverting traffic locally. Southern Vectis Route 3 buses are diverting via Atherley Road and Arthurs Hill until further notice.

Emergency teams were alerted to the incident at around 15:20.

UPDATE – No one has been seriously injured in the incident.

The road has now re-opened.
