The Isle of Wight Distillery is set to launch a new limited-edition grapefruit and Cascade hop gin, adding to its already successful Mermaid spirits range.
Named Mermaid Zest Gin, the new product is packaged in a green version of the award-winning bottle already seen with the distillery’s Mermaid Gin, Mermaid Pink Gin and Mermaid Salt Vodka.
The gin is made with fruits grown in the Victorian walled garden of Osborne House in East Cowes, according to The Drinks Business.
Xavier Baker, the co-founder of Mermaid Gin, said:
“Mermaid Zest Gin is a blend of citrus and herbaceous ingredients, with our signature ‘hint of sea air’ from foraged rock samphire. It’s an exciting new addition to our gin portfolio, demonstrating great versatility and delicious served as a gin and Mediterranean tonic or in a more complex cocktail.”
Mermaid Zest Gin will officially launch at Junipalooza Gin Festival on 11th and 12th June at Tobacco Dock, London, but will also be available from John Lewis, Isle of Wight Distillery, Spirits Kiosk and Enotria & Coe.

Good on them a successful company
A bit pricey for what you get. I’ll stick to Gordon’s as the resident alcoholic
Can’t wait to try it !
Love the bottles, and of course the Gin !!!!! Especially the pink one….
Gordon’s is only fit for cleaning my gold jewellery !!!!!!!
They also made the best hand sanitiser when we needed it most …
Fantastic product, definitely thinking outside the box ….
