UPDATED: Paramedics and fire crews are dealing with a road traffic collision in Cowes this morning (Wednesday).
The incident – which is understood to involve a Suzuki Swift and a Subaru Forester – has occurred on Somerton Roundabout at the end of Three Gates Road.
1 fire appliance from Newport is on scene alongside an ambulance and an ambulance officer. Police are en-route.
Emegency services were alerted at around 11:05.
Island Echo is told that a mother and baby have been involved in the smash. The extent of any injuries is unknown at this time.
Motorists can expect delays in the area.
UPDATE @ 12:10 – Thankfully, no one has been injured as a result of the 2-car crash.
The scene has now been cleared and traffic is flowing freely.
