A medical emergency on board the Wight Sky has caused delays of up to 45 minutes on Wightlink’s Yarmouth to Lymington route this afternoon (Friday).
Passengers travelling with Wightlink are being advised to check in as usual for their booked sailing time. The ferry operator has confirmed that customers will be accommodated on the next available sailing if delays affect their journey.
Emergency services have been called to attend the situation, although details of the nature of the medical incident have not been disclosed at this time.
Wightlink has apologised for any disruption to travel plans.
