Firefighters from the Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service attended a single vehicle road traffic collision in Totland this evening (Thursday).
One fire appliance from Freshwater was mobilised to a black Renault hatchback vehicle that collided with a garden wall and fence lining the side of the carriageway, before coming to rest on its roof.
Emergency Services were called to The Broadway, just off Avenue Road roundabout, at shortly before 19:30.

Hampshire Constabulary also attended the scene to provide scene safety.
The main B-road that runs between Yarmouth and Alum Bay remained open under police direction.
Paramedics from the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service were also called to assess one casualty.
Thankfully, the casualty did not require any further medical assistance, so, therefore, was not taken to the hospital.
Freshwater Fire Personnel used an Environment Agency spill kit to soak up a fuel spillage left by the overturned car.
The vehicle has since been recovered, and the road has been cleared.
