“The resumption of the count is being delayed due to issues with parking within the leisure centre car park and on Fairlee Road. Some candidates and count agents are being asked to move their cars.”
This is SO isle of Wight….
I am assuming that the count staff got in nice an early (as they have an important job to do)
So this has to be candidates, press or party officals and other associated ‘hype-men’
So ANY journalist worth their soul would be reporting who is taking a ‘no nonsense’ approach and ‘has taken control’ by causing an obstruction to others and has been shown they are a winner by being ticketed by a Council employee to show their contribution to the Council coffers.
So – Who was it?
“These votes aren’t going the way we want, get everyone out quick and we’ll commit some fraud”
So Sarah Morris, the ReformUk candidate for Westminster in the last general election is now running for the council as an Independent?
Is she seriously expecting us to believe she no longer shares the views of Nigel Oswald-Moseley-Farage?
Guess she is hoping for short memories.
On another note though, well done Isle of Wight for the good turn out – most wards around 50%!
At 10.24 you reported “It is understood that Newport Central ward is a tight contest between Reform UK and the Independent candidate”
Yet Boojum & Snark got in again with 200 votes to spare over Reform.
Fake news?
So, the nasty Hate not Hope brigade who spit on Reform candidates, put hate mail through peoples doors and loath anyone who disagrees with their perverted views, now have to reap what they have sewn.
Bill Nigh – LEADER OF THE Isle of Wight Council!
As if to add even more evidence why the Lab/Con duopoly is now well and truly dead, Liebore and the untrustworthy Tories have just 3 Councillors between them.
