If (hypothetically) drink driving was legal. There would be zero crime on the island this week ?
The same can not be said for crime on the mainland.
Except you forgot to take into account crimes that are not found out/reported, and of course the mainland has millions of people living on it. How many drugs have been consumed this week in the Prison we don’t know about? How many phones have been smuggled? Out of sight out of mind I suppose.
Mr Baker should have his fine repealed considering what’s been going on in Downing Street. I am assuming he was partying too?
Totally agree.Mr Baker must be feeling a great sense of injustice. He might feel a tad better if Boris gets a whopping great fine. Pigs might fly too….
I am assuming Mr Baker is not in the financial position considering his age, but I could be wrong, at a time when the cost of living ect has risen making this fine harder to pay. Johnson could pay this fine 1000 fold. He was apart of a club that used to apparently burn 50 pound notes in front of homeless people for a laugh and pay on the spot fines for trashing the hired venues. Squash this until we can hold our leaders accountable in a way that will hurt them like this will hurt this young chap. He shouldn’t of partied, but the hypocrisy is a bigger danger of the justice system/leadership.
How many drivers on the Island are under the influence of alcohol
Not enough, it takes the edge off the day.
