This is your weekly round-up of some of the latest court cases heard at the Isle of Wight Magistrates Court.

• Samuel Radford, 29, of Percival Road, Fratton, Portsmouth – admitted criminal damage after damaging a car windscreen in Sandown valued at £420 and was ordered to pay £420 compensation. He also admitted shop theft after stealing a bottle of wine and a battery power bank worth £26.98 from Nisa Stores in Sandown and was ordered to pay £26.98 compensation. Radford also admitted criminal damage after damaging the front door window and display window of Nisa Stores in Sandown causing £1,050 damage and was ordered to pay £1,050 compensation.
• Zoe Davies, 45, of Milton Road, Portsmouth – admitted two shop thefts from Tesco Extra in Ryde involving alcohol and groceries worth a total of £64.70 and was ordered to pay compensation totalling £32.35.
• Takunda Manhombo, 27, of Sandown Road, Sandown – admitted drink-driving on Sandown Road, Shanklin, with 84 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. He was fined £507, ordered to pay £85 costs and a £203 surcharge, and banned from driving for 20 months, reducible by 20 weeks on completion of a drink-drive course.
• Benjamin Weekes, 43, of Longhalves, Freshwater – admitted three breaches of a restraining order by repeatedly contacting and attending locations connected to a woman he was banned from contacting between November 2025 and March 2026. He was jailed for eight weeks and ordered to pay £85 costs.
• Benjamin Flux, 32, of Yarborough Road, East Cowes – admitted driving while over the legal limit for cannabis in East Cowes. He was made subject to a 12-month community order with 15 rehabilitation activity days and 12 mental health treatment sessions, fined £40, ordered to pay a £114 surcharge and banned from driving for three years.
• Noah Critchley, 19, of Downview, Sandown – admitted possessing cannabis in Newport. He was fined £80, ordered to pay £85 costs and the drugs were forfeited and destroyed.
• Christina Marshall, 24, of Castle Street, Ryde – admitted assaulting two people in Ryde. She was fined £80, ordered to pay £85 costs and a £32 surcharge.
• Colin Lipscombe, 62, of The Strand, Ryde – admitted failing to comply with sex offender notification requirements by not completing his annual registration within the required timescale. He was fined £230, ordered to pay £85 costs and a £92 surcharge.
• Jake Sysum, 33, of Back Street, Biggleswade, Hertfordshire – admitted possessing cannabis in Sandown. He was fined £40, ordered to pay £85 costs and a £16 surcharge, and the cannabis was forfeited and destroyed.
• Mardell Pennant, 37, of Parkhurst Road, Newport – admitted exposure in Newport after intentionally exposing himself intending to cause alarm or distress. He was jailed for 16 weeks consecutive to an existing prison sentence and ordered to pay a £154 surcharge.
• Brendan Arnold, 43, of Oakfield Road, East Cowes – admitted speeding at 62mph in a temporary 50mph zone on the M27 near Fareham. He was fined £243, ordered to pay £85 costs and a £97 surcharge, and was disqualified from driving for six months.
• Christopher Rider, 62, of HMP Isle of Wight Albany, Parkhurst Road, Newport – admitted exposure after intentionally exposing himself in Newport intending to cause alarm or distress. He was jailed for 16 weeks consecutive to his existing sentence, made subject to sex offender notification requirements for seven years, and five further offences were taken into consideration.
