National chain supermarket Waitrose has recalled its own-brand Extra Large ready-to-eat King Prawns because some of the packs may contain raw prawns.
The recall was issued on Monday evening as a precautionary measure with Islanders warned by the Food Standard Agency (FSA) that some packets may contain prawns that are in fact raw.
Waitrose has cited an issue with labelling as the reason for the recall.
