Islanders seeking to take legal action over the outbreak of cryptosporidium at Hazelgrove Farm back in 2023 are being offered a free initial consultation by Harris Fowler, the personal injury solicitor.
Last week, Island Echo reported that the Health and Safety Executive is prosecuting the owner of Hazelgrove Farm, situated off Ashey Road on the outskirts of Ryde, following an outbreak of cryptosporidium which led to around 50 people becoming ill.
The prosecution is being brought against Sharon Wheeler, who will appear in court for an alleged breach of Section 3(2) of the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974.
Newport-based Harris Fowler, which is already acting for one Island family who have been seriously affected by the incident, would like to offer assistance to anyone else who has been affected.
