The Isle of Wight has come out third in a national table showing the counties which have cut lollipop patrols the most.
In the last four years the Isle of Wight Council have cut amount of lollipop men and woman by 18, dropping the overall amount from 48 to 30. This comes in behind Cormac in Cornwall who cut 22 and Portsmouth who cut 28.
It’s not known how many of these cuts have come as a result of the secondary school reshuffle, which saw some primary schools close.
