Hovertravel are flying special remembrance flags at both their Ryde and Southsea terminals this week.
Customers are now able to buy poppies and donate at the terminals too.
Loretta Lale, Marketing & Commercial Manager at Hovertravel, explains:
“Remembrance Sunday is important date in the Hovertravel calendar. As well as our customers who are in or have been in the military, Hovertravel has also employed numerous ex-service personnel, so we have a very strong connection to this event.
“We support all UK armed forces with a 20% discount on our services on production of a valid ID card and this offer is available all year round, not just for remembrance day”.
The flags have been on display since Sunday and will remain in place until Monday.
