Homes and businesses on the edge of Newport are without power this morning (Wednesday) after an electricity cable was reportedly struck.
Power supply was lost to 10 postcodes in the Horsebridge Hill and Stag Lane (PO30 5) areas at around 04:45.
Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks are aware of the fault and engineers are working to restore power as soon as possible.
It’s currently estimated that the electricity supply will be restored by 11:00 this morning
