No doubt there will speculation as to the cause or who is to blame. It would be respectful if any “experts” kept their opinions to themselves until the facts of what has happened are made public. This comes from first hand experience after some negative remarks were made about the “possible” cause of an accident and the family of one of those injured had read the comments made by some. It resulted in the family needing counselling. Engage your brain before using your fingers to type something truly cruel and negative!!!!!!!!
“until the facts of what has happened are made public.”
Trouble is, the facts are rarely if ever made public. So speculation is all anyone has.
Unless in the accident requires the public to know the cause it should remain private, as far as speculation goes, we can all speculate, just keep your opinions Private and not spread over social media.
Says Kev, spreading his opinion of opinions all over social media
I agree that certain aspects may need to be kept private, but usually the only way the public ever know the cause of an accident is if it results in a court case. It would be helpful for people to know what has caused an accident even if the specific accident was not identified.
The only thing about letting the public know just maybe it will discourage some of the speed especially from bikes as we live near and the speed used along and through here is too fast! Even if it is the car in the wrong place there is not enough time to react at the excess speed the bikes often do.
We have all recover from yesterday’s accident.
Very well written Neil my sister was the driver of the car, she is very shook up but it could have been a lot worse.
Two very unlikely vehicles to be involved in a crash.. I hope everyone is well enough to walk away.
Is this the island is back to normality
Most definitely
Both vehicles have a top speed of 10mph so they couldn’t have been speeding.
Shut up mate this isn’t no joke they could of died
