Firefighters have extinguished an out of control bonfire in the front garden of a property in East Cowes tonight (Tuesday).
The hedge fire has left a large tree charred after flames shot into the night sky.
1 appliance from East Cowes Fire Station was mobilised to the scene on Victoria Grove at around 23:20.
The crew have since stood down and returned to station having used a hose reel to dowse the flames
The cause is currently unknown.
