A closed barbers on Shanklin High Street will become a new tattoo studio.
Officers have accepted Duane Sibbick’s planning application for a change of use of 52B High Street, Shanklin.
The property was previously home to Cassanova Barbers.
Submitted plans show the new ‘tattoo studio salon’ would comprise 1 room divided into a treatment and waiting area, with no changes to the existing shop.
The proposal involves ‘no external changes’ and would have ‘no impact’ on the Shanklin Conservation Area, according to Mr Sibbick’s Heritage Statement.
Planners are yet to publish a report explaining the approval.
I have never seen a place where people scar themselves for
life with so many tattoos.
I can understand a person having 1 or 2, but some have
far too many, it gets to the stage you cannot even see what the
tattoo is.

what is the attraction to look like you have been involved in a nasty accident, damaging the epidermis, hiding any possible cancer spots, maybe even making them worse.
They need their heads examining, obviously not the
sharpest tools in the shed
