The troubled Cowes Floating Bridge will remain out of service until at least Monday, the Isle of Wight Council have confirmed.
As previously reported by Island Echo, the Cowes Floating Bridge was pulled from service yesterday afternoon (Thursday) due to a snapped west prow cable.
Floating Bridge No. 6 has remained out of service throughout today and will now remain moored up at East Cowes until at least Monday.
A foot passenger launch is in operation between 05:00 and 23:00.
