2 fire crews from Ryde are tackling a small fire at a property in Nettlestone this afternoon (Thursday).
Firefighters are on scene at Eddington Road where a fire has developed within a tumble dryer in a detached family home.
1 hose reel jet and positive pressure ventilation is currently being used.
UPDATE @ 17:20 – The incident has been quickly resolved and Hampshire & Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service has now stood down.
Both appliances – wholetime and retained – are returning to station.
