Esplanade has announced that it is now the official approved retailer, repairer and parts provider for Skoda on the Isle of Wight
It was just last week that news broke that Westridge Garage on Brading Road in Ryde had lost the Czech Marque, previously being the only retailer of brand-new Skoda vehicles on the Island.
Whilst their focus has since shifted into selling 2nd-hand vehicles, it was hinted that Skoda would not be leaving the Island’s automotive market and that news has now been confirmed with Skoda motors to be sold in Cowes from now on.
With well-known and award-winning models such as the Fabia, Octavia, Karoq and Enyaq iV, Škoda offers a comprehensive range of cars that are all packed with cutting-edge technologies.
Having already been an approved Škoda repairer for almost 3 years, Esplanade say they are well placed to sell the Škoda range.
Brendan Cole, Esplanade Sales Manager, says:
“We are delighted that Esplanade is the new home for Škoda on the Isle of Wight. The models available from Škoda further strengthen the extensive range of marques based at our Cowes dealership.
“Škoda is the perfect addition to our line-up of brands, Volkswagen, Volvo, Smart, Mercedes-Benz. The choice of models that we have to offer our customers is now so strong that every day in our showroom feels like a car show.”

Esplanade, just a posh con, like buying from JD sports or Sports direct. Inflated prices for same product. Garage charges at Esplanade extortionate to cover their showroom etc. Cheaper to pop over to mainland.
Skoda have a fixed price servicing scheme so they should be no more expensive than the previous dealers.
Wondered where I could buy a hibrid wheelbarrow.
No way I’ll be going in there again unless they have sacked the rude lady on the front desk
I won’t be using them for my Skoda parts as they never answer the phone
Already used them for a problem with a new Skoda, that the suppling dealer refused to fix.
Esplanade service department were extremely helpful. A competent, professional organisation.
Glad they sorted out your problem but I had to go to Westridge for them to fix a problem that Esplanade couldn’t fix
Wouldn’t buy a car from them even if they were the only dealership on the island. Same with Snows. Customer service is awful. Went to order a replacement key. No one asked if I needed help. Staff wandering around. I walked out.
All Car Dealerships on the Island are shoddy.
I always buy from the mainland, much cheaper and better service.
Never had any problem with Snows!
They customer service is awful and rude. I came in last year when a young red head Chap was on the desk and he went above and beyond. I came this year and met by a sour faced punk looking lady
Cowes, the capital of car sales
