A power cut is affecting over 115 postcode areas in the PO33 area this afternoon (Friday).
Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks say they are aware of a fault that is affecting homes and businesses in Ryde.
It’s understood over 1,600 customers have been hit by the outage, which is predominately affecting the Eastern side of the town and outreaches towards Appley and Springvale.

It is currently estimated that power will be restored by 17:00.

AND the 475 houses being built on the Ryde’s last working farm by Captiva Homes, despite thousands of objections from locals. Wait for the sh*t to hit the fan then, and literally Appley beach when the sluice gates are opened every time it rains.
