Until they stop cars going from town. This is always going happen
Just ban cars then!
Just pedestrianise Newport, job done.
Godshill also needs pedestrianising.
I think it’s time to pedestrianise Newport Town centre
for safety.
Upper St James Street is a nightmare all times of the day.
It’s about time speed humps were installed, no vehicle should
be driving up these Streets faster than 10mph
I pray the elderly woman is well.
It’s about time The Highways Department made our roads a
safe place for everyone.
The town Centre should have been a pedestrian zone 50 years ago…it’s time the council woke up…
When it comes to safety the Council don’t have a clue.
I was walking along this Street a few weeks ago and on the
pavement there was an open hole, no cover over it.
“On the Greengrocers side of the road”
Where are the Highways guys who are meant to patrol and
notice such defects, surely they are not working from home
nothing would surprise me.
I agree it’s too small for vehicles I’ve nearly been hit twice in, it should be pedestrians only
Also vehicles are getting much larger and the new ones
you don’t hear them coming.
Most people say that the Council should do something? Well who voted them in? If they can be voted in, surely they can be voted out? They are there to provide a service and it seems that they are failing at every turn. The answer is in your hands.
