A dog has been put to sleep following an incident in which 3 people were injured in East Cowes last week.
Police were called at 15:35 on Thursday (9th October) to a report that a number of people had been injured by a dog on Vectis Road, East Cowes.
Officers attended and an investigation was launched.
Those injured were a woman in her 20s, a woman in her 30s and a man in his 30s. Thankfully, the injuries were only minor.
The dog has been voluntarily surrendered by the owner and has since been put to sleep, Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary has confirmed.
