Crowds packed the streets of Ryde last night (Thursday) as the town hosted the penultimate carnival of the season, with the procession starting and finishing on Dover Street.
The procession got underway from Dover Street at 18:30, with spectators lining the streets to watch as it made its way through the town before returning to Dover Street.
A quiet zone for spectators was also provided on Dover Street during the event.
Thursday night’s carnival marked the penultimate event of the season, with just 1 procession now remaining.
Attention now turns to Ryde Illuminated Carnival, which will bring the carnival season to a close this Saturday (5th September).
