UPDATED: A popular shortcut used by motorists near Godshill has been closed by Police this afternoon (Tuesday) following a road traffic collision.
Officers have blocked both ends of Chequers Inn Road, a small lane that connects Bohemia Corner with The Chequers Inn Pub.
Hampshire Constabulary have confirmed that a Nissan Navara 4×4 and a Peugeot 206 have been involved in a smash. No one is thought to have sustained any injuries.
A recovery agent has been requested to attend the scene to allow the road to re-open.
Officers were called at just before midday.
UPDATE – The road has now re-opened in both directions.
1 person has sustained a minor injury.
