Jamie Hindson has continued his pledge to support local causes across the Isle of Wight by donating £100 this June to ‘The Way Forward Programme’ based on Daish Way, Newport.
Jamie, 34, has committed to making a monthly donation to charities and community organisations throughout 2025. His June contribution supports The Way Forward, a service offering activity programmes and day services for young people and adults with additional needs.
Jamie was welcomed to the centre by Tracey Hill, Chief Executive Officer of The Way Forward, who gave him a tour of both the main centre and its associated Wight Crystal site.
Jamie has said:
“I met Tracey Hill who is the Chief Executive Officer, and she showed me around the centre and Wight Crystal. Tracey explained how the centre runs, what it offers, and how it continues to grow by supporting young people with additional needs in the community.
“It was a pleasure to meet Tracey. I got a very warm welcome and she explained everything clearly. I shared my reason for donating £100 each month to charities, hoping to make a small difference to young people’s mental health. I’d like to thank her for the tour and wish The Way Forward every success.”
The Way Forward caters for adults on respite and social care packages, as well as offering community and one-to-one care services.
Jamie’s 2025 donation campaign began in January and is set to continue monthly until December. He aims to support services that make a tangible difference to people’s wellbeing, mental health, and quality of life.
