Organisers of the Chale Show have said they are ready and raring to go to today (Sunday) as the show officially begins following yesterdays cancellation due to adverse weather.
Yesterday, the first day of the popular fun-for-all-the-family event was cancelled due to high winds and heavy rain.
The adverse weather caused havoc at the site with stalls, gazebos and marquees uprooted by the wind.
Organisers have worked tirelessly since then to ensure the site is ready to host the event.
Stunt shows, sheepdog display, magic, marching bands, military vehicles and vintage tractors are just some of the sights to grace the main arena today.
A spokesperson from The Chale Show 2023 has told Island Echo:
”We are ready and raring to go, come on down.”
Open from 10:00 – 17:00, entry to event costs £14 for each adult and child over the age of 14.
