Cowes RNLI lifeboat launched to assist a broken down motor boat with 5 people on board in Osborne Bay earlier this evening (Sunday).
The ‘Sheena Louise’ hit the water just after 17:30 following a launch request from Solent Coastguard. After a short search of the seas off East Cowes the casualty vessel was located.
The lifeboat crew set up a tow and brought the vessel into the safety of Cowes Harbour where Ventnor Coastguard Rescue Team were waiting to rendezvous with the boat.
