The Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance has been scrambled to Seaview this morning (Wednesday) in response to a medical emergency in the seaside village.
The distinctive yellow and green helicopter has touched down at Seaview Football Club with 2 onboard medics transported to the scene of the emergency by a member of the public.
The casualty is located at a property on Pier Road where the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service is already on scene with an ambulance crew and an enhanced care paramedic.
It is the 2nd time this morning that the Air Ambulance has been deployed to the Isle of Wight having attended another emergency in Sandown earlier this morning.
Medics touched down in Seaview at 11:50 having been alerted to the incident at around 11:30.
UPDATE @ 13:15– The Air Ambulance has relocated to St Mary’s Hospital and the patient has been conveyed by land ambulance, accompanied by the Air Ambulance crew.
