The Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance (HIOWAA) was scrambled to Pan earlier this afternoon in response to an urgent medical incident in the local area.
Having made their way south from their Southampton Airport Base, the helicopter landed in the field behind Medina House, located in the old Barton Primary School off Green Street.
On the ground, specialist medics joined paramedics from the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service at an address in the local area.
After around 60-minutes on scene, flying medics lifted from the scene and relocated to St Mary’s Hospital.
The nature of the incident remains unclear.
