An Isle of Wight Police officer accused of touching up her colleagues at a social event, as well as assaulting an ex-partner and breaching her bail conditions, is to face a misconduct hearing next week.
According to Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary, PC Tia Johnson-Warne allegedly sexually touched 2 male officers during a work social event, whilst off-duty. She is then said to have gone on to send one of them inappropriate messages.
On a later date, PC Johnson-Warne attended the home address of an ex-partner and allegedly struck him, causing injury. She is also alleged to have confronted a female at the address.
PC Johnson-Warne is also alleged to have breached bail conditions put in place following the incident.
The Force says that her alleged behaviour is a breach of the Standards of Professional Behaviour in respect of discreditable conduct which states that police officers behave in a manner which does not discredit the police service or undermine public confidence in it, whether on or off duty.
A misconduct hearing is to be held in Eastleigh on 3rd February, which will explore whether or not the matters amount to gross misconduct.
