Police are continuing to investigate the disappearance of Matthew Doyle on the Isle of Wight and have released photos of 4 key witnesses officers would like to speak to.
The last reported sighting of the 40-year-old was on Monday 25th May and he was last spoken to by telephone later that evening. It is believed that he attended Broadway Stores, Totland, at around 19:20 that evening.
Matthew is described as black, 5ft 6ins tall, with short black hair.
Following CCTV enquiries, Hampshire Constabulary are now releasing images of 4 fishermen who they believe spoke with Matthew up until around 01:30 on Tuesday 26th May, on Yarmouth Pier.
Matthew is seen to head down to the jetty before the fishermen leave the area. A bag of Matthew’s belongings was later located on the pier during searches with colleagues from Wight Search and Rescue and HM Coastguard.
These 4 men are being treated as witnesses and Police believe they may have been the last people to see Matthew before his disappearance.
If you know these men, or you believe it is you who is pictured in one of these images, contact Police immediately by calling 101, quoting 44200187527.

Why the hell would you accuse them of being suspects Mary?
My boyfriend is one of the 3 fisherman, all 3 of them have contacted the police and all the police have said is that they’ll contact them if they need to ask any questions.

No I think witnesses would be the appropriate term
Suspects for what. That’s an awful thing to say. Remarks like this could prevent these men coming forward for fear that others may think the same. It clearly says that the missing man was seen walking away before the fishermen left. Also they are witnesses. There is no suggestion of them being suspects. Think before you speak people like you course rumours and gossip
It clearly says Matty was last seen walking down the pier to the jetty. It does not say that he was on cctv coming back. l am sure they have Matty arriving on quite a few cctv’s by now.
Hope his ok
His family must be worried and let we are all going through lockdown life
The last photograph with the grey hoody etc. resembles the fisherman with the shop in Bembridge, don’t know his name but Stan something I guess. Hard to be sure though as not brill picy.
Think his surname must be Stan as it is called Captain Stan’s, mind could be forename I suppose. Someone on here must know.
