A superyacht worth a staggering $300million – and owned by Walmart heiress Nancy Walton Laurie – has moored off Cowes today (Friday).
‘Kaos’ has taken up position in the Solent as the Isle of Wight basks in glorious sunshine. It arrived at around 10:00 this morning.
The 360ft vessel is owned by Nancy Walton Laurie, who is worth a cool $7.5billion having inherited her father’s stake in the supermarket giant Walmart in 1995.
The superyacht features gold ceilings, marble bathrooms and a full-size swimming pool, as well as a helipad, cinema and aquarium.
At the end of May, Kaos was spotted travelling up the River Thames in London having travelled across the Atlantic from Florida. But it is unclear why the superyacht is now off the Isle of Wight.
The yacht was built in 2017 by Oceanco, the same company which made Jeff Bezos $500million megayacht.
The same Walmart that encourages it’s workers in the US to apply for food stamps and other benefits because the wages they pay aren’t enough to live on.

Any 16 year olds would be part time anyway with the school leaving age in the US being 18.

$7.5 billion would help a lot of the world’s children dying of hunger and a lack of clean water on a daily basis , the world has lost sight of it’s priorities.
Gold ceilings and marble baths are not really relevant in a world facing catastrophic climate change and war.
The gap between the rich and poor has never been wider but we all put up with it because we aren’t starving to death. Just wait until we are starving to death due to climate change and crop failures. I am having that super-yacht if I can summon the energy while I am starving to death and the temperature is 50 degrees.

If you care to read into her history you will find most of her fortune came from a stake in the firm that constructed and carries out the repairs and maintenance of Floating Bridge in Cowes.
Hence her visit to Cowes
So melt that yacht down and build a bridge from it, to cross the medina. Call it reparations for a shoddy job done.
