Detectives investigating the murder of Tommy Barton in Ryde back in May are now appealing for 2 potential witnesses to come forward to aid their enquiries.
Police have obtained these CCTV images which show 2 people who were in the area of Park Road at the time of the incident during the early hours of Sunday 28th May.
It is thought that they may have seen or heard something which could aid the ongoing investigation.
As previously reported by Island Echo, 2 people have been charged with murder – and have been remanded in custody – following the death of 30-year-old Tommy Barton, who died from stab wounds whilst en-route to hospital.
A spokesperson for Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary has said:
“We are treating these people as witnesses and wish to speak to them. We appreciate that these images are not the best quality, but if you recognise yourself in the pictures, or were in the area at the time of this incident and are yet to speak to police, please get in touch with us”.
