2 people have been cut free from their vehicle following a crash in Blackwater near Arreton overnight.
Police, fire and ambulance crews were called to Sandown Road, close to the local parcel distribution centre, shortly before 04:00 this morning (Friday).
2 appliances from Newport Fire Station were mobilised to the scene to assist in extricating 2 people – a man and a woman -trapped inside the Dacia, which has come to rest on its side in a hedge.
No other vehicles were involved in the incident, which occurred on a fast stretch of road in wet, treacherous conditions.
The casualties – who are understood to be father and daughter – were conveyed to St Mary’s Hospital by ambulance for treatment.

Did any one see a tree
In a previous post on here I mentioned trees and got my post deleted
I questioned whether a dropped lippy might have been a cause and that was deleted. I think you can say what you like so long as the editor agrees.
That’s how the media works now, disagree and your shut down, they will never stop brainwashing….

To all you people sitting at home and making crappy comments. This was actually my father (driving) and I. I am disabled and had just been released from AE. There was a bad storm and we were going under 30mph, not on drugs or alcohol (tested and cleared at scence) it was a flooded road, lost control simple damn accident. The car flipped and we are lucky to be alive. I had played this down to my son and he found this and read all your comments and upset everyone. so thanks for being caring, understanding people. You have made a situation that was bad enough even worse.
And thats why you should never make assumptions!!!!
I had played it down to my son then he found this and read the comments and was in tears. Thank you for not joining in with the hate above x

You all go on about speeding why not have some consideration when you don’t know what’s happened perhaps if this island had better driving instructors wouldn’t happen half of you twats don’t even know how to do a roundabout you pompous twats

Thank you If you were not joining in with the hate above my dad and I are so lucky to be alive, shock ha she kicks in and this hasn’t helped. Me kinder to each other and don’t judge people by your own standards and morals.
