What is happening on this island now. Never used to get this years ago. Low life scum, that’s what they are. Grow up and start respecting the beautiful island where you live. You could be living on an inner city housing estate on the mainland! This behaviour is immature and not wanted here.
Yet daily a flotilla disembarks eventually filling available mainland housing stock forcing more undesirables to come here to bring their ways of low life standards to our streets.
Those who allow such care nothing living miles away in leafy lanes and all with private healthcare and education so doesn’t worry them only us.
You sadly are a ignorant bigit. I do believe a lot of crime here on the Island is also committed by folks born here. This is a world wide cultural phenomenon sadly. We all should all be worried at the increase of violence . Please stop blaming folk moving here, from the main land or immigration. Its you’re words like ‘ undesirable’ that can cause sparks.Be kind not offenceive .
Most people of all nationalities are hard work law abiding folk.
You can attempt to insult or try to discredit but no matter the facts are there for all to see and witness.
You suggest such issues are from people born here. Whilst sometimes that is the case, one would expect a few locals to become involved when the imported masses are heavily involved.
Also being‘born’ in a location doesn’t alter the dna. A cat giving birth in a kennel still has kittens not puppies
So many earlier arrivals children are now classed local but if an imm empties a womb on our shores the contents are what the dna dictate not “what three words “ assumes
Same with mainland upbringing attitudes, moving here doesn’t eradicate such instantly and for many their learned behaviour passed on to kids
As I have said before the island is “finished” as a nice place to be now, the council have made sure of this as have the tourist board, always promoting 2nd homes which are left empty for 9 months of the year. This is turn causes a housing problem for locals trying to buy here, so the great answer is “let’s build more” The loop continues and gets worse as there is no more hospitals bening built is there. If fact let’s just tell people to go to the mainland for treatment.
Agree why do council keep promoting need for holiday homes over homes for locals, what’s wrong with hotels and camp sites for holidays
This country is a total basket case now, don’t bother voting anymore, it will change nothing…..We are finished….
Yes we are. No point voting for Starmer,he has too many tory policies, so it won,t
be any better, only for the rich ones living miles away from it all
The Island like the rest off Britain is broken we only have ourselves to blame
Isle of Shite now, being shipped here by the day, trouble from the smacked/swilled shite every day turning the place into a shite hole.
Wow, I have isle of wight born and bred neighbours who sell dope, there friends all local born here drive cars which are not taxed or insured and couldn’t give a stuff abo,ut smoking dope and driving. They just tell you to eff of and where are the Police. This has sadly become a place where you can drug drive ,speed around the island, buy drugs from a 12 year old on a bike, and this is a world wide problem. I dont ever remember seeing any’ mgrants scum’ forcing innocent locals to drive fast smoke dope ?….. pop up to the skate park in Freshwater as a example where the young lads and lassies are smoking dope and drinking all locals and mostly b&b here.
What an Island this is becoming.
Was once a nice safe place to bring children up.
Attacked with a hammer, brave person using a weapon
I use to come over island with my parents in 60s 70s 80s as have a lot of family over here, loved it great save place to come, walking though shanklin, sandown, brading, etc lovely
places, still come over maybe twice a year but noticed a big change now the charm of the isle of wight is not so much now, buildings all run down hotels abandoned, groups
hanging around on corners up to no good, its same on mainland but i never thought I.O.W would go that way, still got some lovely places over there to visit, but it has lost
its appeal a bit now, needs to be sorted out there is one thing the ferries allways full
so people are still comming over, use to love Blackgang and Robin hill in 70s great
memories.
