Emergency services have been called to a 2-car crash near the viewpoint car park on Brading Downs Road this afternoon (Tuesday).
A red Nissan Pixo pulled out of the car park into the path of an oncoming Suzuki travelling towards Newport at just before 16:20.
Although the main road was blocked in both directions for a short time, both vehicles have now been moved into the car park.
Police are on scene.
The occupants of both vehicles have escaped injury.
