Southern Water have successfully repaired a 12 inch water main that burst in Northwood during the early hours of this morning (Thursday).
Engineers have been working overnight and throughout this morning to identify, excavate and replace the main at Medham Village off of the main Cowes to Newport road.
Southern Water say all customers should now be back in supply, however they may notice low pressure whilst everything returns to normal in the network.
A spokesperson has said:
“We’re sorry for the disruption and thank those affected for their patience while we’ve been carrying out this work as quickly and safely as possible”.
