Emergency services swung into action during the early hours of this morning (Monday) when a car crashed and rolled onto its roof in Colwell.
2 fire appliances from Newport and Freshwater were called to the scene on Colwell Road at the junction with Norton Green/Golden Hill at just gone 02:30.
Firefighters worked with paramedics from the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service to assist those injured. 1 person was taken to St Mary’s Hospital and 2 others were treated at the roadside.
Police closed the road for a time before arranging recovery of the vehicles.
