After a real battle at the oche, Binstead A claimed a narrow 5–4 victory over Binstead B in the final of the Summer Darts League.
The Binstead B side was made up of talented 14-year-olds from the Isle of Wight Darts Academy, who have been competing against adult teams all summer long. Matches have been held every Friday night at Binstead Community Centre, with local pubs across the Island warmly welcoming the young talent.
Despite their age, the lads have impressed with both their respect and sportsmanship, earning praise from all corners of the darts scene.
Tonight, however, it just wasn’t to be for the juniors – falling just short in a nail-biting 9-leg showdown.
