Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious single-vehicle collision in Arreton last night (Wednesday).
Emergency services were called to the collision on the Main Road at Arreton, close to The White Lion pub, at just before 20:00.
Officers attended and a man in his 20s from Sandown, who was riding a Lintex scooter, was taken to hospital with a serious head injury.
Investigations are ongoing into the exact circumstances of the collision and Police are keen to hear from anyone who can assist.
