Police on the Isle of Wight are appealing for witnesses and information after a man was assaulted in Totland over 6 weeks ago.
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary received a report that between 17:50 and 18:00 on Saturday 20th June, a man in his 20s was assaulted at Long Beach Bar on Colewell Chine Road, causing facial injuries including a broken nose.
A 30-year-old man from Freshwater was arrested on suspicion of assault. He has since been bailed with conditions until 22nd October whilst enquiries continue.
Now, officers investigating the assault would like to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed this incident.
