Police are appealing for information following an ‘altercation’ on Old Road in East Cowes yesterday (Friday).
Between the hours of 14:30 and 15:00, 2 drivers of a grey Nissan X-Trail and a light green, 4-door BMW was involved in an ‘altercation’ having left their vehicles.
The X-Trail driver, a 57-year-old, was reported to have been assaulted by the BMW driver.
After being treated at the scene, the X-Trail driver was taken to A&E with facial injuries.
Police would like to speak to the driver of the BMW in connection with this incident.
The BMW driver is described as being in his early 20s, of mixed race, around 5ft 10ins tall and of medium build. He had closely shaved dark hair, visible stubble and was wearing dark clothing.
