The Met Office has issued a last-minute severe weather warning for strong winds this afternoon (Thursday).
A brief spell of very strong winds is expected on the Island as a line of heavy rain moves eastwards over the UK this afternoon, prompting a weather warning to be put in place from 12:10 until 17:00.
Whilst most places will miss the worst a few spots may see gusts in excess of 70 mph.
