WIGHT WHEELS CAR SHOW RAISES £1,500 FOR WIGHT BRAINY BUNCH

This year’s Wight Wheels car show at Chale raised £1,500 for local charity Wight Brainy Bunch. The event, run by Ken and Jane Bloomfield, was held at the Chale Recreation Ground on 30th June with over 400 cars, bikes and trikes attending. Prizes were given for different categories and entertainment was aplenty – all made even better by being a free event. Over the last 10 years, through shows with their social group Wight American Cars, the Bloomfields have raised over £20,000 for local charities, nominating different charities each year. Ken and Jane would like to thank all those who attended the event and a special thank you to the team of volunteers that helped make the show possible, raising a total of £1,500 for The Wight Brainy Bunch this year.
